The first step towards a new career in care

We are recruiting several Enablement Workers to My Options. Enablement Workers are carers who can work flexibly as and when required. Their primary job is to support people who need help to do more.

Why become an Enablement Worker?

If you are looking to:

  • start new career
  • work flexibly
  • have a more fulfilling job
  • make a positive difference to someone’s life
  • the chance to improve your CV.

Then becoming an enablement worker could be the perfect role for you.

Care work is a job for anyone, it doesn’t matter who you are or what your expertise. When you are a carer it’s a bit like being a friend for someone, and this means that the job itself can be very varied with no two days will be the same. You’ll be working with all kinds of people, both young and old.

We asked some of our carers what they feel about their role to give you an idea of what being a carer is like. It’s not quite what you would expect!
