- the chance to improve your CV
Then becoming an enablement worker could be the perfect role for you.
Care work is a job for anyone, it doesn’t matter who you are or what your expertise. When you are a carer it’s a bit like being a friend for someone, and this means that the job itself can be very varied with no two days will be the same. You’ll be working with all kinds of people, both young and old.
We asked some of our carers what they feel about their role to give you an idea of what being a carer is like. It’s not quite what you would expect!
Salary - from £8.61 to £9.01 per hour depending on the service that you are working in.
Hours - work as much or as little as you want – but it’s not 9 to 5 job.
Benefits - there are a number of organisations that recruit Enablement Workers, but we offer excellent Terms and Conditions including enhanced holiday entitlement. A local government pension is also on offer when you work with us.
Training/qualifications - we will provide training and support along the way to help you in your role. Get in touch to find out what they would be.
Career progression - there are lots of opportunities to find a permanent role in care if that is what you are looking for. Currently, 100% of our Enablement Workers have gone on to find permanent roles in care.
